2What happens if I get cold feet?
There are no strings attached. You can walk away from our offer at any time prior to scheduling the closing with the title company. If you have a change of heart after scheduling the closing, we will ask you to reimburse us for the title closing fee.
3Who pays for the home inspection?
We cover the home inspection for you. You’ll even get a copy of the report if requested.
4How do I know that I’m receiving market value for my home?
Our market knowledge differentiates us from the tech start-up iBuying companies. We have been in the southeast Michigan real estate market for 90 years. We will provide you with our market value report that will include comparable sales and market data used to determine the offer price.

The closing costs consist of the owner’s title policy, transfer taxes, closing fee and recording fees.
6What types of properties does Househop purchase?
Your homes must meet the following criteria:

We’re looking for homes valued from $50k - $500k.
Your house must be located in Southeast Michigan
Your house must be a minimum of 750 square feet.
We’ll work with condos, too!

10What happens if the inspection finds that repairs are needed?
If repairs are identified and needed, we’ll deduct the repair costs from our offer and do them for you. Don’t stress about being overcharged; we promise the deducted repair costs are fair. You’ll also get a free inspection report out of the deal. Unlike other iBuyers, we do a walk-through prior to making our offer, so the inspection will only cover any issues that were not identified at the time of the walk-through.
